Now accepting Recent Topics Posters and Lightning Talks!
Botany 2025 Recent Topics Posters and Lightning Talks submissions are now being accepted through July 11th!
Recent Topics Posters require a submitted abstract and a paid registration. They will be presented at the All-Society Poster Session on Monday, July 28.
Lightning Talks are on new data, new ideas, new approaches, or anything else not ready for a full talk. No abstract is needed for submission, only a title. All talks are accepted. Presentations are 3 minutes long, with 3 PowerPoint slides allowed (a fourth title slide is allowed but can contain only the title and the presenter's name).
Click here to submit your abstract or title.
Workshops and Field Trips are still available on the registration site through July 1.
Botany 2025 Swag is available to order!
We've left the store open, but shipment to your house before the meeting isn't guaranteed. To get your pick of sizes, colors and options, order directly from the store.
We’ve partnered with Bonfire—a company that handles production, shipping, and customer service—saving us time and resources. An added bonus: multiple color options are available for all items! While a limited number of t-shirts will be available onsite, ordering ahead ensures you get the size and color you want.
Click here to visit the store. Items ordered now may not be delivered before the meeting.
This annual meeting of six leading professional botanical societies (the American Bryological and Lichenological Society, the American Fern Society, the American Society of Plant Taxonomists, the International Society of Plant Taxonomy, the Society for Herbarium Curators, and the Botanical Society of America) brings together a diverse mix of researchers, professors, educators, government employees and motivated graduate and undergraduate students, all focused on what’s new in the botanical sciences.
Botany 2025 in Palm Springs, CA promises to be an exciting meeting as we have not held our conference in California for two decades. We anticipate over 1000 participants from around the world to present over 700 scientific contributions including special symposia, papers, posters, and special lectures.
